I can be as passionate as I want to be, but I can still get burned... which
leads to burn out. I am not a robot, nor is my family. There have been
many times in the past 25 years that I have just had to take a step back and
get a fresh anointing. That doesn't make me less passionate, or less
called.
As the 'rule' of thumb that "no one with true passion could ever burn out"
... I'd have to disagree... burn out CAN happen, and it can happen to the
Best folks... even those with there hearts in the right place.
This is life, this is reality. We're only human afterall. Only God is
perfect.
Blessings,
Parson.

This wasn't the main thrust of your message but I thought I'd insert a
comment here. I believe that if you are truly called by God, led by God,
ministered to by the Holy Spirit, and constantly in God's will then you
CAN'T burn out. I think it was Victor (remember him?) who said that
passionate people don't get burned out - I agree with that. We may get
"tired" but I tend to believe that "burnout" is more of an excuse than a
reality.
