Stephan, Your point system sounds great. We had the same dilemna 
concerning lost points due to absence and i'm glad you brought it up. Tha 
way we handled this was on an individual basis, and we made determinations 
based on percentages of possible points earned (like grade point averages)so 
that a boy who missed a meeting for a legitimate reason would not get so far 
behind as to get discouraged and give up. We have not tried rangerbucks yet, 
I am a little hesitant to because I don't want the boys to think that i'm 
trying to "buy" thier efforts or anything. I'm definitely not knocking it 
for those who do use them because I know that they work I just haven't tried 
it myself, though maybe I should. God bless you real good!
