This is about as good an attitude as one can have... it puts the load on
the Holy Spirit to deal with the heart of the boy, and allows us to partner,
but not "convrive" with the boy to grasp the meaning of the Code...

Because I feel the Ranger Code is worth liveing... for the better life it will
bring,
I'm not a fan of points or prizes, or even "snack".  *Here's why-

(This is just crazy -=A=- so do as you please)

I was watching a man train his bird dog to fetch game with a wistle and
a pocket of treats... When the dog obeyed, he got a treat, the wistle got
his attention, and he also grabbed the snout of the animal...

If we are to "Communicate" ethics, virtue, doctrine,and right behavior
we had better discover a way to talk, listen,respect,lead, and work
with every boy and man.

I feel we have the obligation to raise "Leadership" as the format for
what we are doing with the boys, and that means useing leaders- to
build more leaders<G>

If we all can *just come to understand... that "Leadership" is not
just a BOSS MAN but also a encourager, a mentor, a friend, and
someone who "does something" then we won't fall in the trap of
saying: *It wasn't my job... or "what handbook"<G> we become responsible!

Phase 2 is  when, *because you want to be a part of something good..
you will desire to shine!
