I could come in and give you a legalist review of your outpost. I could
give you a old fashion by the rules NTC style inspection. It would of
course be for your own good. I would use the BST Manual for the meat of
the inspection. It would acomplish about the same as NTC does. (Don't
do this to your boys)
In Southern Missouri we take our Buckaroos To Pow Wow and several times a
year have a whole outpost campout and have been doing it for over a
decade. I would amagine our Boys in Southern Missouri must be of a more
mature stock. They love to camp and get excited about it. Then again
our 15 to 17 year old Rangers must be more mature to stoop to the level
of cub scouts to craft cars that give men who have been making cars for
several decades a run for their pinewood derby titles.
Your matter of fact style of posting while sitting in a boat full of
holes makes me shake my head and wonder "what in the world". One thing
it takes all kinds to run Royal Rangers. Each has their gift. Please
remember brother and fellow Ranger Commander. Allow others to go outside
the box that you have built for yourself. Just because you can't make it
work doesn't mean it won''t work well for others. In this case it does
and it has. Derby on Dude!
