I have faced this same situation as a Pioneer cdr. and now as Sr. Cdr.
I have told my sons that I will help them get as ready as they can for their
work. But the initials in the book will not be mine. I want to avoid any
appearance of conflict of interest. I also hold them to a higher standard.
