Right.. if we build a fire.. *they will come<G>

The use of "scouting techniques" is a concern of mine and
what I think a lot about. I attended NTC and assumed it
to be as real as the words spoken at the first FCF callout..

On re-turn to the Outpost I discovered a vast differnece between
OP207's Sr.Guide and NTC's! *Useing my brain, and *heart<G>
it became a conviction that the *spirit of the Outpost was
to be kindled by the friendship and joining of the boys in
achieveing togather the goals of the Royal Ranger *program..
and through that process come to find a multi-layered meaning
of the Ranger emblem unfold in their heart and lives!

Do you remember the silent walk in the dark with the CODE
ablaze?

I understood that to mean.. Darkness would be overcome by
the light of our Christian testimony as we togather join
to raise the MORALE of the boys.

*No problem.. We want changes! We expect changes!

*But "conservitive values" do not change, and are based on success!
It is a "conservitive" princeipal to do what works and promote
traditional values found in all good men of character.

*Use the tool God gives you and apply the structure of the
Code-Emblem and the Motto! *We are not just... Ready to camp,
or do what Commander choses.. but in fact READY for the future
and *Our life! *If the boys are to excell.. what should they know?

What 10 essencials are there to success at school, at study and
in the work place? *If learning to confront a Grizzly Bear is
deemed boring or outdated... how does one confront an angry
Man?

*It's a bridge to the future.
*It's a toolchest of wisdom.
*It equips, protects, and builds faith.
*It's a easy understood game for the boys to play.

We SHOULD do what we say...we are about!
We should bravely let the chips fall to honesty.

*Lead-*Follow or get out of the way!

Both.
We are to be READY for everything!
