We'll gladly ship our tread molds to anyone who wants to make themselves a set of treads. We only ask that they are returned in a form that can be used by the next person. Frank P. no offense Frank, this isn't to knock your work making the molds or you using them, but i have had new molds start to tare on their first pull - just because they wanted to. So sending out a set of used molds, having a dozen or two batches of castings made and hoping they come back in good working order is a bit of a stretch as I'm sure they have been used a few times all ready, but still very possible as they have no undercuts. but they also have their age against them as the molds will dry out over time regardless of how much release spray you prep the mold with. on average a good set of molds (depending on surface detail and type of rubber and resin being used) will have an life of 25 to 50 pulls before they start to show some sort of surface ware such as a slight crinkly skin and the castings will start to be off (smaller as the molds tend to swell up when the resin cures and heats the rubber, slowly baking it) Chris, _Odyssey Slipways_ (http://hometown.aol.com/odysseyslipways/index.html) -- You are currently subscribed to the "R/C Tank Combat" group.
