Nah no way an aluminum injection molding mold would be 250k.  Especially if it 
had no slides on it.  I work in aluminum die casting and a 250k tool would be 
massive.

I think you are missing at least one zero. $250,000 would buy one of the 
smaller cap molds that I work on. I dont think a 1/6 scale hull would fit into 
a 14x20x12.5 injection mold. Rotomolding or a precut kit would be more 
resonable.

For a 1/6th scale hull you are probably looking at a 25 thousand dollar mold
