I can tell you that over the years people complaining about some things on this
list have made me aware of significant issues and hepled me stear clear of
bugs that would have have been real time sinks.

And the more people that are made aware of a problem (without having to find it
the hard way) the betetr ... and the more people aware of it that can tell RS
that it's important to them, the better the chance for it to get it higher on
RSes radar.

Quite frankly the number of bugs in RB these days as compared to 5.5 deserves
to be commented on here IMO. I came in at V3 and was disappointed in the bugs
and Xplatform problems and DB issues... Over time things got better (excluding
5.0 is stuff which I did not use) ... but RB200* felt like a significant step
backward in bugginess... even if understandable that is awfully frustrating!

I only use RB and won't be changing ... I even bought a new PowerMac and a wide
screen monitor to use RB200* and not be so frustrated with the performance and
way it uses screen real estate. I have been responsible for the purchase of 3
Pro RB licences (one personal Mac one and Mac and Win licences by my employer
for my use at work)...
That said RB is not the best tool for all situations ... geting RS to make it
better and more reliable by by making people aware of and letting them
evaluate the competition can be positive.
