Thanks for that info. I don't expect I will ever really need to
license up from the version of 4.5 I have, but as I expressed, I tend
to packrat rather than dispose. This app runs some serial hardware
and a beehive ADB i/o. Version 4.5 had all the features needed and
the change- run to test loop was so much faster too on old hardware
with the old version....
I figured I was just turning into an old curmudgeon but so many
language packages were going the wrong direction for my needs. I
guess you know you have turned into an old man when you believe the
golden days of programming were in the past :(

I am one of those lost souls that wished RB wrapped up the folder
items and textstreams with a simple OPEN myfile for write as #1
:)
