This isn't a complaint about the signings but just something I can't understand: Why was Theo willing to sign Mike Cameron for two years, when he'll be 37 and 38, but won't offer a fifth year to Jason Bay, who would turn 36 at the end of the fifth year? I know Bay costs a lot more, but he's also significantly more productive.
