I agree, John - if Youk had been hurt, I think that would have been it. And the schedule for the rest of July isn't easy -
@Toronto AS Break vs Texas @Oakland @Seattle @ LA Angels vs Detroit On the positive side, both Beckett and Buchy should be back right after the break, along with V-Mart and Hermida. I'm thinking Pedroia will be back sooner than expected (August 1?) along with Ellsbury around that time. So if they can stay within 4-5 games of first place, I could see them making a run with their starting pitching. Of course, another injury could be devastating.
