I would wait at least a couple weeks before adding any new animals. You said in an 
earlier post that you had measurable ammonia, which is an indication that some of your 
beneficial bacteria were killed off and your tank may need to cycle again - probably 
just partially. Keep doing water tests, and in a couple weeks conditions should be 
back to normal. And I would keep the polyfilters in place for at least a month or 
more, changing them as needed. Even though the smell is gone, the contamination may 
not be. When your water quality is back to normal, you should be able to add (one at a 
time) any of the common reef-safe fish - except that I would avoid sand-sifters for 
several months, in case the substrate is contaminated with heavy metals.
