I think it depends on what type of person you are. If you are motivated and can teach yourself easily, then school probably isn't the way to go. Technology is advancing so fast that a "school" can't keep up anymore. On top of that, everything you could even want to know is free (or very cheap, compared to a degree) online.
I have two undergrad degrees (computer science and business administration), and can honestly say that I learned very little in school compared to what I have learned on my own, using my own methods. Get some stuff going on the side to get your name out there, and you'll be all set. I am in the same position as you are, trying to figure out what the next step is. Good luck!
