well it WAS a micor PURC. it HAD a 900 MHZ receiver, all the simulcast stuff, a 300 watt Loband transmitter, card racks and so on... HOWEVER it came in a really nice cabinet (like new) so I gutted it out and right now im packing it with GE's :-P. Dave KF6WJA PS.. thanks for the info there everyone.

Longshot, it could have been a simulcast voice repeater, but those are extremely rare. If, in fact, it's a PURC, it has a different backplane and a few different cards in the shelf. If you can get your hands on a PURC manual (it's a supplement manual, like the Micor control shelf "orange book"), it will make the conversion go much easier.
