Which is part of the reason why GAE is immature as a platform; it
significantly decimates Python's capabilities as a dynamic language.
I've played around with it previously, but I wasn't terribly
impressed. The environment we have outside the GAE is currently much
stronger. The GAE carries a promise of easy deployment and great
scalability, but the price is high.
