    Aha you're right about "1". It can stay:
    ```
    usage="Usage: spark-daemon.sh [--config <conf-dir>] 
(start|stop|submit|status) <spark-command> <spark-instance-number> <args...>"
    ```
    Yes it doesn't pass args now but isn't that a problem? clearly 
`HistoryServer` has code to parse args and I don't see how those are plumbed 
through.
