(a) You Suggest: Assuming you're writing out the FLAC/Vorbis tags, you'll want to have the ALBUM be the same across the disc set. (Is it possible you're writing out ID3 tags instead?)
How do I tell that please? I don't know this tag&rename program - what menu option tells me if it's ID3 and the FLAC/Vorbis tags are missing? (b) You Suggest: The one thing I noted from your Tag and Rename Screen is there appears to be blank spaces in the 1 / 2 TPOS field. Compare it to the way the track numbers look (1/8). I can't see the word TPOS anywhere on the screen shot.
