You could send the digital stream out from the Transporter to a
soundcard digital in, then manipulate that.  You can also use this
plugin:

which will more or less do the same thing on certain soundcards without
the digital cable.

Yes, if you install a good ripper, this shouldn't be a problem.  Also
note that you will not be able to play a CD -as- you rip it.  It must
be ripped first then added to SlimServer's database.
