I see from later posts in this thread that you appear to have had success with EAC, so analysis of this file is now purely academic. And to that end, it clearly contains a continuous tone at 665Hz, with high levels of harmonics (1330Hz, 1995Hz, 2660Hz)present. Quite what this represents I have no idea. Are you absolutely sure that you've recorded from the correct input on your soundcard? If you record a "normal" CD using exactly the same setup, do you get a clean recording, or the same tone?
