I didn't know that there was other programs that would sync with with the iPods. I was going to purchase dbPoweramp but now I think I will get mediamonkey also and follow what you have done. It sounds like a good idea. As Nick stated once you have a lossless copy on disk you can transcode to any format you want. I do have two more questions.
1 - Will mediamonkey transocde to aac (m4a) on the fly when syncing to the iPod? From what I've read and heard I think the aac format is better than mp3. 2 - I was thinking of getting the gold version of mediamonkey. Is that what you use?
