Hey Howard what format is most of your collection in? Is it MP3? If yes, depending on how many LPs or total songs you have, maybe it is better to buy them from a DRM free online source. Saves the trouble of you doing it manually and there is no turntable sitting around not getting used after you're done. $300 gets you a bunch of songs and if you need the whole album or almost all, some sites offer a discount if you buy the whole album. Something to think about. There are two old albums I want that have been released on CD. The problem is that one sells for $99 or more and the other for $69 or more.
