I'm not reasonable. I had a $600 turntable in the early 70s. This was
when a new Corvette cost $3000.

I don't see any point in a cheap solution to extract "good enough" sound
from an LP.

If you only have a few LPs that you care about, borrow a good turntable,
preamp, and sound card. Or buy the CD.

If you have a collection of well loved LPs, especially if they are
significant and rare, then you gotta do it right.
