All of the above observations and comments are absolutely correct from the perspective of a true audiophile. As I said in my post, I prefer the sound of my 30 some year old Sony with a good cartridge, but the T.90 gives completely acceptable results. I use Magic Audio Cleaning Lab 12 for recording, cleaning and digitalizing the LP's. I haven't tried the S/W included with the T.90,the name of which eludes me right now, but I remember that it is well regarded and contains all the essentials to go from vinyl to PC/CD/MP3Player. Keep in mind, the T.90 has both a USB and a 600ohm line output, so you have maximum flexibility on how you get from analogue to digital. One observation, if you elect to manually remove the vinyl noise, it is a very laborious process. I would recommend the you just buy the CD, if it is available. As some of you guys seem to have experience with USB turntables, can you tell me if there is any way to adjust the recording level in Windows XP, as you can for the line input?
