I think;
1. You must have the reference version of dbpoweramp for multi-CPU use
2. the ripping is single threaded unless you have multiple CD drives
and then you need to use the batch ripper software

The ideal situation would be for dbpoweramp to completely rip the CD
before encoding and then there would be greater use of multi CPU
systems.

check the forums at dbpoweramp as the experts there can address your
questions and concerns with 99-100% assurety.
