Yes I agree that for ripping a single CD, the multi CPU functionality of dBPoweramp works fine. If you are ripping a group of CDs then it is a different story and it is my opinion that it would be better if the ripping and encoding were able to be separated so you could complete the physical aspects of ripping and then let the computer do the encoding at the end.
