I hear you! And I agree about the space issue. I'm no longer concerned about storage space for files either. My primary reason for recommending FLAC files to people is that the tagging is standardized across different players/software, etc. That's the main downside with WAV files. But I agree, that if you can get the outcomes you want with WAV, you're good to go.
