I believe the situation you are trying to resolve is addressed in other posts that are specific to DVD-Audio.I know I have gone through the steps to rip a DVD-A to 6 .wav files and then used a DTS encoder to create a file that I could play through my SqueezeBoxes but it is a tedious and time consuming process. A better way to play DVD-As is to rip to a .mlp file then play that through a computer, with software to decode the MLP format to a PCM stream, then a HDMI connection directly to a receiver.
