They would appear under both; if an album artist + compilation tag is set, they
appear when you browse to the artist, or when you browse to compilations.

Another example: Soundtracks

Often, soundtracks have songs from different artists on them, and would appear
as compilations. Some soundtrack albums have all songs performed by the same
artist, eg. "Soundtrack to the film More" by Pink Floyd. This album could be
set with a Compilation tag, such that it will appear in the list with all other
Soundtracks (and can also be viewed under the Aritsts > Pink Floyd > albums).

Some users set the Album Artist tag to "Soundtrack" (which I find pretty weird
personally - for the case above, the album artist is really Pink Floyd, and
maybe something else like an additional genre tag would be better served for
indicating Soundtracks). By setting an album artist label, SBS by default
doesn't assume it to be a compilation. A user can also add a compilation tag
for consistency here too.

Yes, I do this by removing album names, so they appear as <No Album>, and all
singles/odds and sods get grouped together on that album, one-per artist (and
all singles can be seen within Browse Albums > No Album.
