I understand. But there are a few issues with that strategy. The way my network is setup, it does not lend itself to plugging in the laptop to the router and I did not want to clog up my wireless with a big file transfer. Also, the target laptop does not have enough disk space to hold the source file AND the converted file at the same time. Finally, my concern was not just the directory structure, but the associated Album art, which is still intact. I'm not trying to be hard-headed about this LOL. With more time to play around and familiarize myself with the program, I might very well do this differently next time.
In any event, I am almost done, and I am running the conversion with File Verification, so hopefully all is well. Spot checking of converted files is good so far.
