It did not say that Rivendell 2.1.0 was in beta in my package manager after adding tryphon repositories... so how would I know?
*If you did not read my previous post clearly, *I have already searched my entire computer using locate for libhpi.so.9 and all I found was libhpi.so.0 and libhpi.so but no libhpi.so.9. I also could NOT find libhpi.so.9 anywhere on the internet to download... not even any packages which would contain that library. ...even the 400 audioscience cards are TOO MUCH for me (my budget is 50 or less) because I have extremely low income... I cannot afford to spend 400 on a card for a ameteur internet radio station that can't even accept donations legally because I do not have nonprofit status because I don't have the money to get one because I don't have much income and because I can't receive donations... and on and on in a circle. Thanks for trying to assist me anyway. Any more suggestions? ...and why didn't Rivendell put "beta" in their version number in the deb packages? That's a huge inconvenience. ...and I am not going back to 11.04 Ubuntu just to run Rivendell... I already wiped out my system recently from a hard drive problem... I don't want to have to wipe it out yet again.
