Hi Robert, No storage solution without using LVM : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logical_Volume_Manager_(Linux) Our 2 or 3 (or 10) disks ("physical volume") will be grouped (in a "volume group"). And you can create "logical volumes" which can be used like partitions to create filesystems. You can (on the fly) resize logical volumes, remove a physical volume, snapshot a logical volume and many other things.
