did you add this to your sources list:

deb http://debian.tryphon.eu oneiric main contrib
deb-src http://debian.tryphon.eu oneiric main contrib

if so there are a couple of libhpi packages, try installing that with 
apt-get.  Maybe the dependencies are not correctly setup.
