True. Incidentally, folks, I've been scrambling to free up space all day, and I'm still down to my last 462 MB. I'm going shopping tomorrow, and it will probably take me a few days before I get everything back in order. I'm going to go ahead and do a clean sweep and get rid of five years' worth of unsortable cruft when I make this move. I'm expecting a lot of things to change on me, which have not changed because I've been upgrading, rather than starting from scratch. I expect a lot of reading and fiddling with things like udev, dbus and HAL, then figuring out how to get a more recent kernel doing whatever it needs to do to keep from breaking JACK, so this weekend is probably shot. Actually, I've got to do a Linux conversion too, for money this time. Almost forgot about that, and I'm glad I didn't. Oh, and I have to go to a daddy daughter bowl-o-rama thing with the Girl Scouts. And sell Girl Scout cookies. Hrm. Anybody want to buy some Girl Scout cookies? :) So yeah, this weekend is definitely shot. Probably this whole week is shot. -- D.
