There are drawbacks to following the standard, and drawbacks to not following
the standard. All of this could be argued either way, but you're probably
right that not being able to work with Git is the greater drawback, and that
tips the scales.

So for technical reasons, I agree, and for personal reasons, I am behaving
like an asshole because I really haven't gotten over how angry I am about the
way you approached all of this from the beginning. I am still bitter, and
that's not very mature or professional, but it's true.

Can we please just try to keep Git out of my life, and let me focus on my job?

Thank you.

So then, to make the switch successfully, we need to:

* Wait for the notation_toolbar_2 merge

* Find and change all the URLs out there that refer to the old structure.
Every wiki page, every page on the Rosegarden website, and every piece of
internal documentation elsewhere, wherever any of it might be (eg. user
documentation that isn't in the website module directly, and isn't on the
wiki)

* Figure out how to make "svn switch" work properly, so everyone can continue
using their existing working copies. (This was the big deal breaker for me
last time. It didn't work as advertised, and I couldn't figure out how to get
it to work)
