There are no changes to the branches. Just the files in trunk/rosegarden/
will be moved to /trunk/
I found already way to do the switch. Here it is, briefly,
$ svn checkout http://${
[email protected]/svnroot/rosegarden/trunktrunk-rebasing
$ cd trunk-rebasing
$ svn move rosegarden/* ./
$ svn move rosegarden/.*project ./
$ svn move rosegarden/.settings ./
I have tested that it worked up to this moment. I checked also that the
svn:ignore property in the file will be moved at the same time:
$ svn propget svn:ignore src/base/
.deps
.libs
Makefile
Makefile.in
*.lo
libbase.la
(I AM HERE NOW). Now I should just commit:
$ svn commit -m "Rebasing from rosegarden/trunk/rosegarden to
rosegarden/trunk to comply with the svn trunk/branch/tags standard."
After that everybody should just
$ svn switch https://${
[email protected]/svnroot/rosegarden/trunk
After we are sure that everything has been moved from trunk/rosegarden/ to
trunk/ we could finally remove the extra directory:
$ svnrm rosegarden
I would like that Chris would agree on the movement, after that I will
repeat the above steps, so that I will have surely checked out the last
version of trunk, move directories, and commit.
So, Chris, may I do this switch?
