Hi,

after googling some time I found an article in Qt Quarterly about
dynamically changing shortcuts. The containing code results in rev 11897.

You can start the shortcut editor either by simply pressing F12 or via the
menue "Tools->Shortcuts->Edit shortcuts". You can save everything in the
config file Rosegarden.conf or load it from there. I disabled
automatically loading to always get the defaults after starting RG.

Before investing too much time, I would like to hear what you think of it.
It is nowhere near ready ...

   - the example was only for qt3
   - the Edit Window needs some beautification
   - you only see the translated strings, so if you switch to another
language, all definitions have to be made again for this language
(btw. does anybody know how to get the original text back from the
      translated text?)
   - a search-button might be nice

... but I think it is something to start with.

   Thorsten
