I should amend that to read "crappy, but usable" is better than nothing.

I don't mean to imply we should just throw standards out the window and not 
give a damn.  It's just that we have a bad habit of dreaming up really big 
goals for ourselves and sitting around in committee forever without getting 
ground broken on any code, because we're all obsessive perfectionists.
