Hi,
thanks for the explanation, but it is really sad to hear that. It sounds to
me that rosegarden is not moving along with the new technologies. In my
opinion that only means one thing : the end for it.
I've made my final decision, I'm not going to rely on rosegarden anymore
for reasons stated in the replies above, and for what I just wrote.
It's really too bad, it was a really great sequencer/daw. Finally Ardour 3
will come along soon, with midi support, and I'll keep an eye open on
OpenOctave. It looks promissing, but still is alpha-quality, though they
claim it's bèta... and for scores I'll use lilypond or musescore, we'll
see.
