Unfortunately, it appears there will not be a scale
version even if Lionel DOESN'T make theirs....
Seriously, diesels are less complex than steam, with
the Flionel shell, AM SD drive and new truck side
frames a scale version wouldn't be too hard to
construct (the pictures of the pre-production version
were pretty close to scale looking as I recall).
Has anyone actually converted the Lionel USRA 2-8-2 to
scale?
