Hi Art & All,
Today I learned the concept of modeling a given roadname in a given
era at a given location. I just feel that I would be better suited
to building a fantasy or freelance RR, where everything I build is
true to scale and nicely modeled, even if it doesn't follow a logical
time-line. I know that's like landing a Blackhawk in 1949 on a grass
air strip at the county airport. Bizarre! But this may be a good
place for me & other newbies to start anyway. We could always
replace inappropriate structures or rosters as we go along, if
everything else is in scale and realistic. After all, mountains is
mountains. Trees is trees. Ballast is ballast. Am I being too
simplistic?
Thanks,
Tim Brown
