A Texas Special train sounds interesting, but what's up with E-6 units. Neither the MKT nor the FRISCO ever operated E-6 units. The first passenger diesels each road purchased were the E-7 units. Of course, MKT also procured some ALCO PA-1 units which may have come just before the E-7 or just after. An MKT historian could straighten that out. But what's with the E-6 units? Tom

There was a line describing the upcoming Texas Special E-6 and a four car set, plus optional three cars. I called him about the set and he said that it had been delayed (anyone surprised?), but that it might be out end of year of first of next. Cost to be around $800 for the twin-powered A-A E-6 units and the four car set.. Oh, and it's by American Models. Roy Inman ------------------------------------ Yahoo!
