with the unavailability of the Sergent coupler (I looked into them, and timing
was bad for them and me...), I've taken the plunge with the Kadee S scale
coupler (had a bunch of On3 couplers sitting around also.....)...

not bad, I also want to operate, and have fun with my trains.....

have basically given up on super scale type stuff, and close enough will just
have to do for me....besides Kadee has been around forever and a day, and is
committed to making a product that works well out of the pack, and is
available.....made in the USA doesn't hurt either!

I don't see myself changing unless I could sell all the Kadees I've got on
equipment and in factory packs...... ansd that would only be for something
better at a similar price, or much better performance...

they work just fine, and I am familiar with their product from other scales
that I've been in....
I also like the choice of one (1) style that pretty much works for everything
in S....

have had no problems body mounting on SHS and AM locos and cars, even body
mounting on full length passenger cars....pretty easy and quick....
