"S" is 3/4 the size of "O"
That is cause there are 4/16 in a 1/4
So a coupler that is 3/4 size for "O" is full size for "S"
So we have an "S" coupler - because the "On3" coupler is 3/4 size for
"O". The only difference is the trip pin length. Ohh btw; all the
KDs above "H0" are too scale. All the ones "H0" and smaller were 20%
oversize till recently due to manufacturing limitations in those
scales. That is why the smallest are a different design.
