This (quoted below) is true... I have a number of photos of the "smaller"
1:1 couplers that were used in the early years.One of these couplers can be
seen on a CofG passenger car at the CofG's Savannah Roundhouse facility!
Unless my info is inaccurate or I'm remembering it wrong, this passenger car
was NOT a narrow gauge car... it was standard gauge, yet still had the
smaller coupler.
