Bob,

You're right about the PBL loco's coming painted, weathered and DCC/sound
ready, but what's even more interesting is that they're latest offering is
called a Hybrid locomotive (no it doesn't run on batteries), which combines
a brass superstructure with a cast metal frame greatly reducing the cost.
With the average PBL brass engine hovering around $1500, the new hybrids
price out at under $500 (without DDC and sound).  Too bad we can convince
PBL to do a standard gauge hybrid.
