Hi all ----

The narrow gauge group is less related to scale than prototype. If you
slobber over trackage less than 4' - 8-1/2" in gauge, you fit. If you like
to model the real thing down to the last tie date nail, you fit. If you
make pilgramages to RGS / EBT / DRGW country and search out old roadbed that
hasn't seen track in 50 years or more, you fit. ( I fit all these
qualifications to some degree.) Scale of the model is only relevant to the
space available to make your version of the prototype fit. Therefore,
those that have no standard gauge in the house have little interest in the
NASG.

During my younger days I was at some narrow gauge RR or another at least
once per year. I even helped coal up the Durango coaling tower before it
was torn down in 1967. My first ride on the Silverton line cost $7.50
round trip...

Merry Christmas!

I personally wouldn't mind a name change to better represent our scale.
I'm still not sure though, if many of Sn3 folks would join our rag-tag
group.
