Bill,  I also think I would qualify as being an "honorary" narrow 
gauger.  I get to Chama any chance I can and also rode to Silverton in 
the mid 60's.  I'm familiar with Ridgeway, Rico, Ouray, Farmington and a 
few other places.  Heck I often ride down Westheimer Road (one of our 
main drags) which  is was laid over a narrow gauge line.

Part of our problem is that very few of the narrow gauge suppliers think 
it's worthwhile for them to attend our convention.  I haven't seen Bill 
Banta for years (he certainly was close enough last year), never have 
met Mr. Turner, or Jeff Smith, nor Ragg's and a few other companies that 
make stuff that we can use. 

It just seems that we're ignoring a good sized chunk of what we are!
