All of my passenger car fleet is standard and modified American Flyer
bodies converted to scale. The pleasing proportions of AF, even in
tinplate form, is what drew me into S in the first place.
Their length looks good on my main line 36" radius curves, and they
couple and uncouple reasonably well for efficient operation.
I can only hope that the visual deficiencies in SHABBONA RR can be
diluted somewhat by the operating interest I hope to create, and let
my imagination (remember that?) do the rest.
