Hi all --
I like the FNF thread, and I appreciate Bob keeping it alive (giving credit
to Andre Ming who started it).
This week, in fact tonight, saw the last of the painted steamers getting
their SLE&P decals. I will post a couple of photos to the group later
tonight.
I found a used SHS bulkhead flatcar that I recieved late last week. I
modified the car to more represent the 1950 style of such a car as I
remember it, and to match a photo of a similar Wabash car. Once I paint
and decal it, I will post a photo...
Wiring the SLE&P is still in the works (I hate wiring!), but I did get some
more done in that regard within the last month.
Thanks to Bill Lane, some of the "gold" has been turned to black, boxcar
red, grey and pullman green over the last couple of months. Sooner or
later, the SLE&P will look like a rational model railroad!
Have fun!

----On the other hand, my FNF for the day was installing a microswitch to
kill the North Yard storage tracks at Terminal District when the switch is
lined against them. It worked and I feel great. Life is good!
